At the KFA National AGM in Leicester on 6th October 2018 West Midlands gained two awards – The Tea Cup and Membership Champion Trophy.
The magnificent Tea Cup was donated by the Tea Council. It is awarded to the region that achieves the greatest percentage increase in membership numbers in the year. West Midlands are this years winner for achieving a 6.9% increase in membership in the year 2017/2018.
The Membership Champion Trophy was donated by Christine Bannister who held the post of Member Liaison Director from 2009 to 2015. This is awarded to the teacher that increases their membership total the most in the year. This year it was a tie between Vi Carlisle (West Midlands) and Maureen Watson (East Midlands)
