  • Saturday 12th May 2018 – our Emerald Anniversary

What a fantastic day of celebration with a green theme. Green spotted balloons, green floral table decorations, the Committee Ladies with their green flower corsages were ready to welcome our Members and guests and representatives from or sister Counties.

After a super buffet lunch for our guests, with green napkins of course, there was the serious business of the AGM. With that successfully completed there followed a most enjoyable open session of Keep Fit tutored by Jan Norman, our guest teacher for the day from Middlesex KFA.

The afternoon continued with demonstrations from East Sussex Class teams and the 2018 County Team produced by Jenny Stow. These, as always, were very well received.

After the winners of both the Lucky draw ticket and those who were luck enough to hold a winning raffle ticket had been announced, it was time for a much needed cup of tea, and cakes that had been donated by our generous members for everyone to share. The final duty on this special day to celebrate 55 years of KFA in East Sussex was cutting the Anniversary Cake, beautifully decorated in emerald and white. This duty was proudly performed by Rosemary Quinnell, Chairman, East Sussex KFA.

What a wonderful conclusion to a very successful, happy day, and so good to share it with all our KFA members and friends in East Sussex.
