What’s on: National AGM

East Midlands Region is hosting the National AGM this year.

The National AGM is to be held in our Region this year. We in the East Midlands have earned a reputation for being welcoming and providing a well-organised event.

With morning sessions provided by three of our favourite teachers: Lisa Bigley, Frances Dickins and Lisa Terry, and an afternoon session with Ruth Denholm, we can feel confident that the keep fit side is well catered for.

The day will feature a programme of dance-fitness sessions, an opportunity to socialise with our coffee and chat break-out; and I a chance to buy some exciting and innovative products in time for Christmas from a variety of stalls. In the afternoon you will be treated to a wide range of team performances, including items from the National Festival 2018.

Programme for the Day:

• 10:00 am   Registration, coffee and chat breakout, marketplace opens
• 11;00  am    Keep fit Association National Annual General Meeting
• 12:15  pm    Participation sessions – team teaching
• 13:15  pm    Lunch break and shopping opportunities
• 14:00 pm    Re-energiser participation session
• 15:00 pm    Team performances
• 16:00 pm     Close

Brockington College is a popular location for many of our regional events – almost at the centre with easy transport routes, we know It will be an ideal venue for the activities, the meeting and socialising in the open plan restaurant area.

 If you have never been to a National AGM before, make this year special and support your region. Those who have been to many AGMs will know what to expect and will already be looking forward to his event.

If you need transport – don’t be afraid to ask. All keep fitters with a car are more than willing to share and we would all welcome newcomers.
