2018 Moving Still Matters Day
36 KFA members attended our Moving Still Matters day and a good time was had by all!
A great mix of recreative and training sessions plus time to chat to KFA friends during tea breaks and lunch.
The day was brought to a close with everyone joining in a Laban Movement Choir led by Val Adrian. This is a lovely experience to work within a large group in a choreographed manner that also gives the opportunity for personal expression. Take a look at the video clip and pictures.
MSM always has a charitable cause close to hearts of the South East Region. For 2018 this was in memory of Nicky Irvine, our KFA friend and colleague who sadly passed away in 2017. We were delighted to have raised £300 from a Raffle, Bottle Tombola and donations made on the day. This will be donated to St Peter’s ICU (Intensive Care Unit) at the Ashford & St Peter’s NHS Foundation Trust .
Thanks go to the Working Party, the catering team and Tutors for helping to make the day an enjoyable success.
