No event is successful without proper planning and no planning is successful without a strong team to implement all the plans. South West KFA had that team!

The working party from across the South West, each with their own particular skills, worked all year to get plans in place for the big day on the 7th October.

On the day our wonderful team of stewards worked their socks off from the start to the close of the event guiding, assisting, helping, all with a smile throughout. A huge thank you to them all.

KFA members across the country, from Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham, Essex, all points east and west – as well as here in the South West – came to Sarum Academy in Salisbury for the SW KFA Festival of Movement in Motion, and for the 60th National KFA AGM. Guests and members browsed the invited craft stalls – two being run by our own members – that had a large variety of all sorts to buy.
Wendy Harrison, Sue Barton and Jane Fulford got the day off to a great start when they took three excellent workouts in the morning. Each one was much appreciated by all those taking part.
Our guests then sat down for a lovely lunch prepared by our catering team.
Many attended the AGM in the afternoon and it was good to see the theatre filled with so many KFA members.
We were all then treated to an afternoon of excellence, colour and skill – real quality movement in every demonstration performed by teams from the South West and across the country.
Huge thanks to everyone involved. What a day!
    Ann Cutler (Working Party Lead)
