  • On the 3rd August 2017 a very special evening was held in Blackpool in memory of our dear friend, class and KFA member Pam Entwhistle who sadly passed away in May after a short illness.

Pam had performed at many events, including  the Royal Albert Hall and throughout the North West region. Funds were donated to Flyde Trinity Hospice.

The evening showcased the work of Susan Traynor’s Thursday class who performed 9 items (involving a lot of quick changes in a large cupboard which doubles as our dressing room, very cosy!) which they have performed at various events in the North West and Flyde – all of which Pam was involved in.

The evening was by donation, and included tea, coffee and home-made cakes, a raffle and craft stall. it was a wonderful evening full of fun, laughter and memories, the total amount raised was £500 with further donations still coming in.

Thanks to all who attended, I am sure Pam was looking down on us and smiling.
