Ruth Thomas, from the North East, performed with the English Youth Ballet’s professional production of Coppelia. She was one of fifty young dancers to be selected from the whole of the North of England to take part in the production of Coppelia at Darlington Hippodrome during April. The dancers trained with international principal ballerinas. It was an amazing experience. We are so proud of her. Here she is pictured in her costume.
Ruth has been coming to my KFAMoves North East Junior Youth Moves classes for just over two years. As part of the Junior Youth Moves Dance team “Euphoria Dance”, she performed in the enchanting “Alice in Wonderland” item at the KFA National Festival at Birmingham Symphony Hall in June, and again at KFAMoves North East Panorama of Movement and Dance a couple of weeks later. Although she does ballet weekly classes she loves my Saturday morning class! And does not want to leave!
